Understand the franchise buying process
Any time we make a significant financial investment we expect there to be some sort of process. Most of us are familiar with the home buying process but investing in a franchise is a foreign concept to most.
Understanding this process is key to finding the right franchise.
There are five steps in the franchise placement process and each one is equally important.
- Assessment and Evaluation- Identifying and discussing the following: goals, interests, budget, market, vision, family, and more..

- Due diligence and discovery– Speaking with other franchise owners, attending either a virtual or in-person discovery event at the corporate franchise office, having attorney review franchise documents if you choose…etc….
- Decision and awarding of franchise– take the final step and sign the agreement and become a franchise owner.

Be open-minded and willing to think outside of that proverbial box. And most importantly, be 100% honest regarding your feelings, concerns, and thoughts at all times.
